Today I was reading in Mark to prepare for next week and read chapter 14. I was struck for the first time in a while when I got to the institution of the Lord's Supper. What we take as a memorial, Jesus used as a way of looking to things to come. Yes, we are instructed to remember Him as we partake of this, but we should also be looking forward to taking it with Him in Glory. Think about how wonderful it will be to share this meal with our Lord and Savior in paradise. I don't know about you, but I can't wait.
